Leg pain on walking starting from hips down to legs. I have been given two hydrcortizon injections on each hip? - alcohol leg pain
I am a walker to walk 1 year - 2 hours per day for the past 15 years. During 6 months I have pain in my leg from the hip to walk on both legs. X-rays and MRI images do not show pinched nerve, but no swelling of the hip. Two injections of cortisone have been applied, but without success. I am stretching exercises for the hip, and every morning, with no smoke and no carcinogenic disease or drink alcohol. Can someone tell me what to do next?

Hello, Harry M - Welcome to Yahoo Answers - I see you yesterday - I'm not clear on the body part they took X-rays or magnetic resonance imaging - but if you specify an inflammation of the hip, that you suffer from arthritis May: "Have She saw a doctor or an orthopedic surgeon? take any medication or change your medication? Since the cortisone shots do not help - I will get to further evaluation and testing. And if not satisfied with their treatment and the outcome - I would In any case, seek a second opinion. You may have to do something like sciatica (a condition that the pain in the sciatic nerve that runs from the hip to the leg).
You mentioned that you had X-rays and MRI these areas, but if it's been a while since I could make some changes now. I would recommend always another opinion, preferably someone who is not the same office, the doctor who performed the tests to see what they might think to happen.
